National Masturbation Day, also known as International Masturbation Day and in Britain and Australia as "Wankers Day", is an annual event celebrated on May 28, to protect and celebrate the right to masturbate. The first National Masturbation Day was observed May 7, 1995, after sex-positive retailer Good Vibrations declared the day in honor of Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders, who was fired in 1994 by President Bill Clinton for suggesting masturbation be part of the sex education curriculum for students.
International Masturbation Day has since been expanded to include the entire month of May as International Masturbation Month.

Self Love - Self Care

I some times deal in traumatic events. During and after those events we are required to attend counselling.
In my most recent event in speaking with a new in-training counsellor and his mentor he asked me what I do to engage in self -care. Having been at this a while and no longer feeling the need to hold back I told him that yes I do engage in self care I masturbate regularly during dealing with these events. It helps put things in perspective, it calms me and helps me sleep. I go on to say that when I have had a partner then I engage in frequent sex.
The two counsellors look at each other and I can see the counsellor in training is turning red and a bit flustered and unsure of what to say.
The mentor takes over and states that sex is one of the normal ways people deal with trauma and in certain circumstances is quite healthy. He then goes on to explain that self care is a little more involved...
Ooops...guess sex was on my mind.

I got an email this morning in one of my personal off site accounts. The email quoted part of email name and part of password I use on sites I dont want to share any information with. I do keep anonymous email accounts for those less then trustworthy web sites I some times visit.
The email stated they had my email address and password along with all my face
book, messenger and email contacts. It stated I had visited a porn site and that they had that evidence as well as evidence of my cam. They threatened to let all my contacts know that I visited a porn site and release my cam recordings and web sites visited unless I paid $988 in bitcoin ( weird amount).
It's hilarious because I dont care if anyone knows that I visited a porn site. Its not illegal, if it is lock me up now. As for having me on cam, never been there, never done that and my cam is disabled.
I can see why some people might be worried about receiving this type of email. It is concerning that they have part of my password. Having said that, the day I pay $988 because I visited a porn site is a cold day in hell.

No its not what you are thinking....
I read several online news services daily... well scan more like and read those articles that pique my interest.

I've worked for my employer for 29 years. I can retire in 4 years ( yes I am counting down). I have benefits and with universal health care everything I need is all or mostly covered and that will continue until I pass on. I am though always conscious of what I spend being a single income parent. My job is active, it requires lots of driving, in out of vehicles, traipsing up and down stairs, ladders, and rough terrain.
I have always tried to remain fairly fit, and balance my love of food. I still skate, walk the dogs and have on and off again gym memberships.
I am finding though my body is starting to have more aches and pains. Repetitive strain is setting in and I dont seem to be able to recover as easily. I have gone for physio and to the chiro and while it helps the share I pay adds up over time.
I am currently dealing with a pinch sciatic nerve and am doing all the stretching to relieve it but the pain is not fun. I dont tolerate or take any pain meds. I have taken a Tylenol here and there and have tried muscle relaxants.
The other day I invested in a Tens machine ($114). Both my physio guy and my chiro guy have used these machine on me and they have helped. For those who arent aware it uses electric stimulation to alleviate pain and promote healing through improved circulation.
This machine has been wonderful has been great, well worth the money spent. What's even better lying there for the treatment, I am able to part take in some self love... WIn/Win

For one week, researchers tracked the sex lives of a group of 129 women who were in relationships. The participants gave daily reports on their satisfaction with their relationship, as well as how often they were intimate with their partners. The researchers also took blood samples from the women, analyzing cells for indicators of aging.
When the researchers compared the women’s reports to their blood samples, they found a fascinating pattern. Women who had sex with their partners at least once during that week had significantly longer telomeres — the protective cap on DNA that determines a cell’s lifespan — than those who did not.
Over time, telomeres break down as a result of things like poor diet, heavy drinking, and the natural process of growing older, according to the study authors.
But their results suggest that regular sex can repair and lengthen telomeres, which means cells live longer and help keep you younger. Researchers have linked shorter telomeres to serious health issues like cancer, heart disease, and diabetes; longer telomeres seem to help prevent disease. The study is small, and the findings will need to be confirmed with further research. But there’s nothing wrong with applying these findings to your relationship.
Sooooooo if we all have more sex we can live forever or at least counteract our bad habits.
The study makes no mention of the effects of masturbation … ????
PS For my own selfish needs I chose not to include the section of the study that refers to sex only once per week being the prime number.

Apparently a neatly made bed can actually lead to a better sex life, according to a study conducted by a marketing research firm.
Surveying 2,000 Americans, the study showed how people’s morning habits can show interesting personality traits.
And how making the bed can affect relationships.
Of those surveyed, 42% of those who are into bed-making believe their partner would likely do the same. One-third of those surveyed told researchers partners who didn’t make their bed after waking up in the morning would turn them off.
The study noted on average those who made their bed had more sex per week (three times a week) than those who don’t (twice a week).
In terms of sleep – you know, that other thing the bed was made for – people surveyed averaged about six and a half hours of sleep per night. Of those, people who made their bed noted they wake up an average of about 16 minutes before their counterparts who didn’t.
I will confess I do not make my bed unless I have company coming over. I always thought it better to just let the bed breathe. Now that I know I might get more sleep and more sex I might just have to start making my bed.

I had a conversation with a gentleman from the site recently. I had advised him that I was not interested in pursuing anything with him because he is a smoker. Besides being allergic to tobacco, I just totally dislike the taste of it on someone. He advised that his ex had refused to give him blow jobs let alone swallow because he tasted horrible.
