The Beach, Woodstock '69, and More
This week I've been watching hours upon hours of the Woodstock '69 footage.
For me it's a Hippie Chick week. PEACE!

What was a rainy day yesterday ...today is starting off to be a beautiful Summer day here at the Jersey Shore. Seems like no rain in the near future for the next five days, Let's hope.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Summer. Do anything really fun this Summer? Please share...

 Summer has been good here lots of sun,heat plus humidity- beat the winter any time. I transplanted my heirloom lilies from old home to new condo so life is good.

 Summer here also has been hot and the humidity is very high the last couple days ..the weather is changing so quick and the climate changes are as well..what to expect ? hmmm hope winters are not too warm but at the same time hope they are not like when i was a kid the snow drifts were extreme maybe because were were kids ... but we did have some wild snow storms...

Seems like every year there is a drowning here. Always seems to be after hours when the lifeguards go home.

Since living here in AC, I have seen them take out the boats a few times. Always turned out well YAY!

 I was stationed at Fort Monmouth, NJ. when Woodstock '69 went down. My first computer training!
It made national news, the turnpikes were all shutdown because of traffic, people were abandoning their cars and just walking to get there.
The Fort had to call a one week amnesty for all the soldiers, mostly students ,that went because of the problem of getting out of Woodstock, some never returned....lol!
I was with a small band in high school in San Antonio Texas in the early 60's, just a small group of kids that liked to play. Someone would find a gig and whoever could make it showed up to play.
Dallas Taylor was one of us, he was the drummer for Crosby, Stills and Nash at Woodstock. I have a pair of drum sticks he gave to practice with back then!
