It was once really easy to just ring up the receptionist at the doctor's surgery and tell them that you need a repeat prescription.
Not any more!

I share your frustration with pharmacies. I can't believe how incompetent they are. If people didn't need their meds so bad most of these places would go out of business.

Since you have them, they can't take them back unless it's in a sealed container from the factory/lab. Otherwise, once the medication leaves the pharmacy, they can't accept it back. If they do, they will probably have to destroy it. They can't re-sell it. But that's a serious f**k-up on their part!

try and find a discount prescription card called Good RX or google it. and put in each of your prescriptions and print each coupon. look at the savings.

the pharmacy tech made a big boo boo on the part...but i am not sure if they can do anything, since they were saying you paid for what's worth, (1 month supply), and they obviously dispensed 1 month supply on the record. There is no record of them dispensing and you receiving 5 months...

Most likely, they can't accept your return once the Rx is dispensed, for safety concern, and they must throw away the meds anyway...at least that's how it works at my pharmacy, when they made a mistake.

You can keep them, you have to , because they will destroy them.....and what a waste that is. Unless they will expire , keep them and just pay monthly as you have been. Think of it receiving the meds in advance of your paying for them. Now....IF you didnt get all of them.....thats another story that you will have to deal with them on. However , i read it to say that you received 5 months of ALL your meds....not 5 months of just one. If one or two is missing....pay and receive the missing one/s for just one month. Im just trying to prevent the others from being thrown away. Ugh....what a pain....i know. Good Luck ~~

CINN They will throw them out!!!!!! It doesnt matter that you did not fork over
any $$$ KEEP THEM Use your head. I am not saying you should become dishonest but if you take them back they will be thrown out. Maybe if you feel the need to pay you could pay them once month at a time going forward
